Twitter Says Elon Musk Under Federal Inquiry Over $44 Billion Twitter Deal Filed In Court
- Tesla Inc TSLA chairman Elon Musk is reportedly under investigation by federal authorities over its bid Twitter Inc TWTR.
- Twitter said in a court filing released on Thursday that Musk’s lawyers claimed “investigative privilege” while refusing to release the material sought by the social media company.
- The lawyers had reportedly provided a “privilege log” to Twitter in September identifying documents to be withheld.

- The California Air Resources Board said 30,600 vehicles were involved in the settlement, including Ram 1500, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango from 2012 to 2018.
- The vehicles involved were equipped with 5.7-litre petrol engines that allegedly did not meet emission standards.
The legal dispute between Airbus and Qatar Airways over the A350 is intensifying
- Airbus SE and Qatar Airways clashed in court over damage to A350 jets.
- Qatar Airways is suing Airbus over damage to the painted finish and lightning protection system on A350 jets, saying a design flaw could compromise safety.
- The two companies are required to provide documents on their claims as the dispute heads to a London aerospace trial in mid-2023 if no agreement is reached.
