After this State Cannabis Control Agency (CCB) proposed the original rules and accepted public comments; the New York Bureau of Cannabis Management (OCM) “is now screening the feedback and working on revised regulations which will be resubmitted to the CCB for approval once all comments have been evaluated,” said Lyla Hunt, Associate Director of Public Health and Campaigns, OCM.
“I just want to underline the balance of the wide range of different critical policy goals in publishing the packaging and labeling rules.” hunt added. “We are very excited to be moving the needle and leading the way on the environmental component here. We very much look forward to working to continue this good effort.”
Caring for the environment is a priority
