
Microsoft Corporation MSFT has introduced “Designer” – a graphic design application and the latest addition to the 365 suite.

Microsoft 365 is the name for what used to be called an office suite. The designer app is powered by artificial intelligence, including DALL-E 2 through OpenAI.
The app can help create social media posts, invitations, and digital postcards, among other graphics.
“Every surface of the app is powered by AI to ensure consistent, aligned, properly scaled and beautiful designs, even with or without inherent design skills,” the company said in a blog post.
Users can sign up for a free preview of Microsoft Designer website but there is a waiting list.

According to a statement, Canva was valued at $40 billion as of September 2021, eight years after it launched as a free online platform.
Canva’s paid subscriber base has grown to 55,000 and the app competes with Microsoft’s Office. reported CNBC.
A Microsoft spokesman said Designer could be expanded to enterprise if it generates enough interest, according to the report.
