VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 12, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Eldorado Gold Corporation (“Eldorado” or “the Company”) reports preliminary gold production of 118,790 ounces for the third quarter of 2022 and preliminary gold production of 325,461 ounces year-to-date. Eldorado remains on track to meet the low end of the 2022 consolidated full year guidance of 460,000 ounces as operating trends continue to improve and sequential quarterly increases in production are realized. Detailed production by plant is shown in the table below.

Canada
At Lamaque, production in the third quarter was slightly below plan due to throughput. High grade stope underground development progressed well during the quarter.
Turkey
Gold production at Kisladag increased 27% and 35% in the third quarter from the first and second quarters, respectively. The sequential increase in gold production was driven by an increase in tonnes placed on the pad during the second quarter. As indicated by the production results, the on-belt agglomeration continues to function as expected. As part of the North Heap Leach Pad project, larger conveyors are scheduled to be installed in the fourth quarter, allowing for further improvements in belt agglomeration circuit material handling capabilities and throughput rates. As a result, Eldorado continues to expect production at Kisladag to be weighted to the second half of the year.
At Efemcukuru, gold production, throughput and average gold grade were on plan.
