- CSC Generation Holdings Inc was taken Release of its proposal to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of Bassett Furniture Industries Inc BSET for $21 a share.
- That The proposal represents a 27% premium to the last close of $16.51.
- CSC said the BSET board was unwilling to meaningfully engage, despite submitting a proposal on June 30, 2022 and September 26, 2022.
- As such, CSC has published its offer to facilitate constructive discussions with the Board of Directors with a view to completing a mutually acceptable transaction in the best interests of all shareholders.
- Price promotion: BSET shares are trading up 7.03% at $17.67 on the latest check Tuesday.
