Newmont Corporation NEM offers a dividend yield of 5.19%, or $2.20 per share annually using quarterly payments, with a notable track record of increasing its dividends for two consecutive years. Newmont is primarily a gold producer but is also active in the production of copper, silver, lead and zinc with operations and assets in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Peru, Suriname, Argentina, Chile, Australia and Ghana.
Blumenauer’s spouse bought between $1,000 and $15,000 of Newmont stock on Sept. 28 at a cost basis of $42.19 per share.
amgen inc AMGN offers a dividend yield of 3.32%, or $7.76 per share annually through quarterly payments, with an excellent track record of growing its dividends for 10 consecutive years. Amgen is a leading human biotechnology company with a proven track record in adjuvant products for kidney disease and cancer.
The purchase of between $1,000 and $15,000 in Amgen stock was made by Blumenauer’s wife on September 26 at a cost of $1,000 $226.87 per share.
