STOCKHOLM, October 4, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Skanska has signed a contract with the Wake County Public School System to build a new middle school Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The contract is valued at approximately $78 million 770 million SEKand will be included in US orders received for the third quarter of 2022.
The contract for the final phases of a multi-phase contract includes the construction of a 74,000-square-foot middle school with an outdoor athletic facility, two full-fledged gymnasiums, classrooms including science rooms and fine arts, a theater, a media center and a dining hall.
Work started in May 2022 and is scheduled for completion in 2024.
