On Friday, Aug. 26, she said on Twitter that Zuckerberg was “underqualified” to launch the Metaverse.
Claire Boucherthe Canadian musician known as Grimes, has expressed concern that Zuckerberg is monitoring the virtual world.
She also mocked Zuckerberg’s Metaverse avatar, saying, “That’s bad art,” and even an indie game looks better than this.

Grimes spoke about Zuckerberg in response to his recent interview with Joe Rogan.
Last week, Zuckerberg divided a photo of his avatar on his Facebook page, and people responded by making memes. In response, he walked on Instagram introduce a new avatar.
Zuckerberg has championed it metaverse for quite a long time. He recently said the Metaverse is a “huge opportunity” for a number of reasons, and he firmly believes that developing Metaverse platforms will “unlock hundreds of billions of dollars.”
Last year Grimes started a series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) called the “WarNympth Collection”. The 10 NFTs grossed over $5.8 million and sold out in just under 20 minutes.
An avid video game and sci-fi lover, Grimes recently tweeted that she wants to modify her ears to make them look more elfin.
