Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is known for his philanthropy and his Crusade against climate change. The billionaire was recently criticized by a fourth-generation farmer in South Georgia farmland ownership in the USA
will harris, who owns a 152-year-old family farm called White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, Georgia, said he has concerns Gates controls farmland. His thoughts came in the form of an open letter to Gates Posted on his Facebook page, as PJ Media first reported.
“Just as I don’t want a child molester to control a single child, I don’t want him to control a single acre,” he said.
Harris justified his point, saying Gates lacks the understanding to properly govern the country.
“How well do you think I would run a tech company or financial institution?” he asked.

The Georgia resident didn’t like how Gates’ land acquisition was kept secret. He noted that a May 4, 2021 article revealed the billionaire bought 200,000 acres of land in 18 states, but Georgia was not listed among the states.
He later learned that an acquaintance of his revealed that he had sold his farmland in Georgia to Gates prior to this report.
Third, Harris said he doesn’t share Gates’ ideology that technology is a cure for all problems.
He also noted that Gates is investing heavily in plant-based protein. The tech entrepreneur is unaware that “reasonable animal impact” isn’t to blame for climate change, he added.
“This environmental protection cannot be replicated within a monoculture pea and soybean farm,” Harris said.
