Uncommon Education is the first company in the US focused on teaching children what they don’t learn in school. This includes topics such as financial literacy, investments, entrepreneurship and economics as well as soft skills such as communication and emotional intelligence. The Company announces open enrollments.
Roselle, NJ, September 28, 2022 –(PR.com)– Uncommon Education, a new company teaching children software and technical skills for success and fulfillment, is accepting applications for ongoing year-round programs.
“As a financier, I recognized that there is a gap in our education system that needs to be filled,” said Agustina Burgos, founder of Uncommon Education. “So I created a program that focuses on teaching kids financial literacy, entrepreneurship, economics, and soft skills for success like communication and emotional intelligence.”
The program was established a year ago and students love the interactive, hands-on and easy-to-understand curriculum.
The program so far has 5 levels, starting at elementary school age and ending with a level for 17-18 year olds that gets them ready with mentoring and knowledge about investing, real estate, contracts, a plan or success, a resume and a cover letter.
“We want to provide children with a path to happiness, success and fulfillment by providing them with an education they won’t get anywhere else and by giving them life-changing skills,” said Agusina Burgos. “We know that whatever career a child chooses, the skills we teach are important, because no matter what they choose, they have to deal with money, insurance, taxes and all the real-life skills that school doesn’t communicated.”
