Zaandam, The Netherlands, September 28, 2022 – Ahold Delhaize announces today that its Board of Directors intends to propose the reappointment of Frans Muller as President and CEO and a member of the Board of Directors at its annual general meeting on April 12, 2023.
Peter Agnefjäll, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ahold Delhaize, stated: “We are delighted that Frans will remain President and CEO of Ahold Delhaize, subject to shareholder approval, building on his strengths. Under Frans’ leadership, the Leading Together strategy was implemented which increased his ability to better serve his customers.”

Frans Muller became President and CEO on July 1, 2018. Prior to that, he was a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Integration Officer since 2016. Prior to Ahold Delhaize, Frans was President and CEO of the Delhaize Group.
