Which mission is important to you and what brought you to your current path?
West says his mission is to find out what drives others to focus on it and block out all the noise to achieve those goals as quickly as possible. He recalls that when he was younger his mother ran into financial difficulties and sold her house to an “investor” for well below its actual value. “I found out later that we had other options, and that got me interested in learning about real estate,” he says. Over time, he began helping families in similar situations and helping people with mortgages save their homes. Today, as an experienced residential real estate professional, he is also trying his hand at short-term rentals.
Tell us about Powerhouse Real Estate.
“At Powerhouse Real Estate we generate leads, but not (on) the traditional way of making phone calls,” explains West. “We use social media, create content and remarket our ads to help people find us and come to us across different mediums. We teach how to be found by building your brand and using inbound marketing.”
“We are following a roadmap where we post content on social media with a homeowner tick,” he continues. “They then get retargeted videos on different topics and they feel like they know you. So if someone on the team contacts them, it’s not a cold call. We work specifically in the greater Los Angeles area known as the South Bay, covering the beach towns.”
