Former President donald trump‘s Lawyers face a changing legal landscape as the Mar-a-Lago search and seizure lawsuit moves out of the courtroom of a single Florida federal judge.
What happened: On Monday, Trump’s legal team pressed the court-appointed special master judge Raymond Dearieto drop a request asking the former president to disclose details about materials he allegedly released before Federal Office of Investigations raided his home in Florida reported Politically.
Another concern raised by Trump’s attorneys is Dearie’s request for information on a follow-up Fourth Amendment lawsuit filed by Trump to recover documents that were supposed to be filed bruce reinhart, the magistrate who authorized and had the search has retired after Trump accused him of “bias animus”.
Lawyers are also asking for a deadline extension, proposed by Dearie, that would see the entire inspection and labeling process complete by October 7.

Why it matters: The US Department of Justice has appealed with the US Courts of Appeals for the 11th Circuit to stay a decision served by the Florida District Court Judge Aileen cannonpreventing prosecutors from accessing classified documents seized at Mar-a-Lago.
The forum should be as hospitable to Trump and his attorneys as Cannon’s courthouse, Politico reported.
The report noted that Cannon never addressed whether, as president, Trump actually declassified the materials present on his estate or referred to them as his personal property.
According to the report, Dearie’s first comments are expected Tuesday during a court conference in Brooklyn, New York.
Meanwhile, Trump continued truth social that he had arrived in Mar-a-Lago on Monday evening and had a “detailed opportunity to investigate the scene of another government ‘crime'”.
