CALGARY, Alberta, September 19, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Canacol Energy Ltd. (“Canacol” or the “Company”) CNE CNNEF CNEC announced that it had declared a dividend of $0.052 per share, payable on October 17, 2022 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 30, 2022. This dividend qualifies as an “eligible dividend” for Canadian income tax purposes. The declaration, timing, amount and payment of future dividends remain at the discretion of the Directors.
Dividends for shares traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”) will be paid in Canadian dollars (“CAD”) on October 17, 2022.
For Shareholders traded on the Colombian Stock Exchange (“BVC”), the equivalent of the Colombian Peso will be calculated based on the exchange rate confirmed by the Banco de la Republica (“Central Bank”) on the date of monetization and published accordingly on the SIMEV -site www.superfinanciera.gov.co

Form NR301 is mailed to registered non-resident shareholders by Olympia Trust Company, Canacol’s transfer agent, on the dividend record date. In order to receive the preferred contract rate, you must complete and return the form as soon as possible. If a completed NR301 form is not submitted, Olympia will withhold the statutory withholding tax rate of 25% on all payments to registered non-resident shareholders. If you have already completed Form NR301, you do not need to fill out a new form.
Instructions for correctly completing Form NR301 are on the back of the form. Shareholders who hold their Shares through a broker should contact their broker directly. You do not need to return a form to Olympia.
