
The Chinese delegation visits London to witness Britain’s longest reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth the secondAccording to the funeral, her coffin cannot be viewed when it is laid out in Parliament BBC.
What happened: That lower house speaker Mr Lindsay Hoyle has reportedly denied China’s access to Westminster Hall in Parliament House due to Beijing’s sanctions on five British MPs and two colleagues.

The report noted that many parliamentarians had expressed concerns about inviting Chinese representatives afterwards Xi Jinping’The British government has sanctioned several British politicians for criticizing alleged human rights abuses Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Beijing denies such claims and has always said so China fought terrorism and referred to the detention centers as “vocational training centres”.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning told media in Beijing that she was unaware of such developments, Reuters reported.
“What I want to say is that Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral is an important event for the United Kingdom. Foreign delegations attending the event at the invitation of the UK are a mark of respect for the Queen and the importance she (relations with) the UK attaches to,” she said. “As host, the UK should respect diplomatic protocols and maintain proper manners towards guests.”
Meanwhile Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan is expected to attend the funeral on behalf of China at the invitation of the British government.
