What happened: Musk apparently made the change minutes later Twitter Inc TWTR shareholders approved a $44 billion buyout deal.

Along with changing his name, Musk also changed his profile picture and description to “Centurion in Jerusalem Garrison.”
Musk said Tuesday that his tweets are “being suppressed,” and asked Twitter, the Twitter Verified handle, and the social media platform’s CEO for a resolution Parag Agrawal.

At the time of writing, Musk reverted his name to “Elon Musk” and changed the photo to an image of his younger self at the time of writing.

Why it matters: Naughtius Maximus is defined by Urban Dictionary as “someone who engages in violent or antisocial behavior, often attributed to mental instability or personality defects”.
