- An interim analysis from a randomized controlled trial demonstrates a significant reduction in the re-tear rate in full rotator cuff repairs using the REGENETEN bioinductive implant.
- After 12 months of follow-up, repairs with the additional bioinductive REGENETEN implant resulted in significantly lower re-tear rates than those with a TOE repair alone.
- In particular, patients who received a bioinductive REGENETEN implant showed a renewed tear rate of 3.5%. (n=29).
- Patients who received only transosseous equivalent repair had a 25% re-tear rate, consistent with published re-tear rates for similar tear types.
- There were no differences in postoperative complications between the groups.
- Price promotion: SNN shares are trading down 1.85% at $24.93 on the last check Wednesday.
