TORONTO, Sept. 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Millions of people around the world will be watching State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, CityNews today announced its plans for a six-hour live news special to be hosted by award-winning journalist Lisa LaFlamme on Monday, September 19.
As announced by CityNews last week, LaFlamme was on site in London on a special assignment to bring CityNews, Breakfast Television and 98.1 CHFI viewers in-depth coverage and specials on this pivotal moment in history.
LaFlamme will lead CityNews’ live special on Her Majesty’s State Funeral Monday and will be joined by Royal historian and author Helen Carr, award-winning Canadian cultural writer Daniel Richler and other guests of honor to bring this unprecedented world event to Canadians.
