Drivers, new and experienced, can now benefit from DriverZ’s new flagship driver training course
IMPROVLearning’s DriverZ announces the statewide approval of its online driver education course, SPIDER Driver’s Ed, in Texas. Traffic accidents, injuries, and deaths are on the rise nationwide, according to NHTSA. Unfortunately, Texas is at the forefront of this trend with a 26% increase in traffic deaths over the last 3 years. DriverZ believes that now is the time to rethink traditional driver education strategies and they are excited to partner with leading driving schools to bring world-class training to the Texas driving public.
“Collisions are increasing, but not much has changed,” said CEO Gary Alexander, “In the driver education industry, we’re trying to solve modern problems with the same tools we’ve been using for 50 years. We felt it was time for a new approach and that is SPIDER Driver’s Ed. We’ve worked hard to develop new content and technology to meet the needs of today’s riders. From fully interactive driver education courses to our new Virtual Driving Coach app, we have developed a range of products to bring driver education into the 21st century and beyond.”
SPIDER Driver’s Ed is based on the SPIDER Method, which helps build safe driving muscle memory and identify road hazards before they become a problem. Their courses use a combination of humor, neuroscience and decades of driver training experience to deliver a fun educational experience.
“We believed that entertainment breeds engagement and engagement breeds education,” added Gary Alexander, “and that is our core principle. We try to create safer drivers by going beyond traditional driver education.”
