Shell plc (“Shell”) announced today that it has postponed the payment of its second quarter 2022 interim dividend from Monday 19 September 2022 to Tuesday 20 September 2022.
This change follows the announcement of a bank holiday on Monday 19 September 2022 by the UK Government on Saturday 10 September 2022 for the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and subsequent announcements by the Bank of England and Euroclear UK & International that in line with their normal holiday processes their systems necessary to process this dividend payment will be closed on this holiday.
This change in payment date applies integrally to Shell’s second quarter 2022 interim dividend, thus covering dividend payments in (i) any of the three available currencies (sterling, euro and US dollars) for common shares and (ii) US dollars for American shares Shares from deposit shares.
