- The new Series 8 watch features a new temperature sensor that the company says will enable much more advanced cycle tracking, including ovulation information that offers end-to-end encrypted data. The feature focuses on women’s health.
- The Apple Watch Series 8 also features new car crash detection that can connect to emergency services and contacts. The function only runs when users are driving.
- International roaming is enabled on Apple Watch (Series 5 and higher).
- The watch offers 18 hours of battery life throughout the day. Power saving mode can provide 36 hours of battery life on a full charge (available from Series 4 on Watch OS9)
- Apple has introduced 2 new Nike bands and 2 Hermes bands.
- Price Points: The GPS model will be available September 16 for $399-$499 for the cellular version. The SE version costs $299 for cellular.
- The new Apple Watch Ultra Edition focuses on extreme activity. It has a 49cm titanium case for extreme conditions, is water resistant to 100 feet, has a new action button, a second speaker, cellular in every watch, 36 hours of battery life on a single charge, a Wayfinder watch face and accurate dual frequency GPS ,
- The Ultra edition costs $799.
