Coinciding with Labor Day 2022, which falls on September 5, Benzinga conducted a poll of its readers to find out which tech billionaire they’d like to spend Labor Day with this weekend. The poll found three options – Tesla’s Elon MuskMicrosoft co-founder Bill Gates and metas Mark Zuckerberg.

Musk wins hands down: Musk was overwhelmingly chosen as the preferred weekend partner for Labor Day by 41.6% of respondents.
Gates was the choice of 18.8% of those polled, and Zuckerberg received just 7.3% of the vote.
Additionally, 32.3% of respondents said they would prefer not to hang out with any of these celebrity CEOs.
Why people warm to musk: Tesla’s Musk was a very divisive figure, praised for his successful business ventures, rags-to-riches story, and unconventional leadership, but he drew ire alleged sexual mishaps and his demeanor, which is sometimes perceived as autocratic, arrogant, and rude.
