BROOKLYN, NY, Aug. 25, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — future astronomersCreators of astronomy education platform Future Astronomers, announced today that they are launching phase two of free programs for Fall 2022.
future astronomers is expanding its offering, and the details are as follows:
- Initiating the second series of the popular Future Astronomers Zoom classes that make up their Youtube series, which will cover further exploration of the fundamentals of astrophysics and its application to galaxies and stars.
- Launch of the Materials for Learning program, where children have access to telescopes to actively engage and study the celestial sky. Fundraising initiatives will begin shortly to support this endeavor.
- Expanding the Sidewalk Astronomy initiative, a flexible program that encourages other astronomers to share their knowledge and skills with local youth, further advancing astronomy education.
