CHICAGO, Aug. 11, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Zero Hash Holdings announced today that its Australian subsidiary, Zero Hash Australia Pty Limited (“Zero Hash Australia”) has successfully applied to the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (“AUSTRAC”). as a provider of Digital Currency Exchange (“DCE”).
AUSTRAC is the Australian Government’s financial intelligence agency with regulatory responsibility for detecting, deterring and disrupting criminal abuse of the financial system to protect the community from serious and organized crime. This registration allows Zero Hash Australia to offer its crypto services to Australian businesses serving Australian residents.
Zero Hash enables companies to embed digital assets into their product offerings with little technical effort and no regulatory effort. Zero Hash empowers neo-banks, broker-dealers, payment groups, and non-financial consumer brands to offer digital assets. Clients includeleckworks (now owned by IG Capital), Banxa, Wirex, MoneyLion and DraftKings.
