“I played my very first show in the summer of 2010 at a lakeside bar in Acworth, Georgia and I played cover songs for an hour. Shortly thereafter, I found out the names from the track list of my favorite country records were the actual authors of the songs I loved. I felt like I had been lied to my entire life. From that moment on, I promised myself that if I ever put out a record, my songs would be on it,” Wade begins.

“I don’t come from a musical family or background, so I had a tough fight coming up. Well ‘Beer Drinkin’ Blues’ is obviously a cover song and I co-wrote ‘Bleeding Blue’ but the rest of the songs on Radio Check are my songs. I lived them and I wrote them myself.
