JONESBORO, AR, – Camfil APC is pleased to announce a series of activities leading up to the opening of our new facility on Nestle Road in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Camfil APC air pollution experts have collected hours of video footage, including drone overflights and time-lapse videos, of the demolition and construction of Camfil APC facilities since the tornado that struck in Spring 2020. By documenting the progress of the journey, Camfil will be able to share the excitement of the transition into the state-of-the-art building with customers and stakeholders over the coming months

John Williams, Senior Project Manager, gave an insight into the next and final steps of building construction. “Construction continues both inside and outside of our new factory. Additionally, we are awaiting key electrical components for factory and office infrastructure that have been delayed,” Williams said. “With any luck, we should see these items in early July.”
Roof assembly continues as we await delivery of roof clips damaged by high winds this spring. Williams said that over the next few weeks the factory will be fully enclosed and take shape and begin to “look more like a Camfil factory.”
“Our building infrastructure and equipment continues in July with equipment shipments including air compressors, compressed air dryers, nitrogen generation systems, compressed air circuitry, weld gas linings and nitrogen lines on-going,” Williams said. “Our community groups are working to complete the extension of the underground utilities on the site, which is due to be completed in July with the final connections to Camfil’s new factory.”
Final projects in June and July include City of Jonesboro inspections, second floor framing, property finishing including roads, driveways, landscaping and parking lots….
