Red Wing Shoes opens its newest location in Canada

WINNIPEG, July 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Red Wing Shoes, the legendary work and casual footwear brand, will open at 469 Sterling Lyon Parkway in one of Winnipeg’s most popular shopping districts near Costco’s Outlet Collection Mall , Cabelas and IKEA.

Shop owner Tunde Dada and his family immigrated to Winnipeg from Nigeria in 2016, where he worked in various industries. He brings experience as a local entrepreneur and a wealth of knowledge gained with the help of Red Wing Shoes dealers across Canada.

“It comes full circle when I was working as a chartered accountant and accountant in the Nigerian oil industry when I first heard about the Red Wing Shoes brand,” says Dada, business owner of Red Wing Shoes Winnipeg. “I’ve learned so much since I started this journey; The other Red Wing dealers have welcomed me with a sense of friendship, community and passion for what they do. Their stories were inspirational and helped me decide to open the new location.”

As Red Wing Shoes continues to expand across Canada, the new Winnipeg store will be its easternmost location to date.
