Grind24, a mobile banking company offering a financial product built for our diverse and marginalized community members, announced today that it has completed a major rebranding of the company in a post-pandemic landscape.
Loops24 has been in the fintech space since 2019, the company was originally founded in the Vector90 space, a coworking space founded by the late Nipsey Hussle. Grind24 founders BC Silver and Nipsey had a vision to bring a financial product and local job opportunity to a burgeoning startup scene within downtown Los Angeles communities and beyond. In 2020, many small business owners had to reposition their hopes and dreams, wondering if they would survive the pandemic. BC knows the pandemic dangers for a small business owner and now in 2022 the company has launched its new app design and website with an ongoing focus on providing better financial services and equality for Black, LatinX and other marginalized people in finance.
Grind24 also has outstanding partnerships with Unit, Visa and Plaid. The company has a premier debit card product offering a contactless, EMV and FDIC insured product. Recently, Grind24 introduced early direct deposit and more exciting updates are coming soon.
BC shares his thoughts on Grind24’s place in an ever-changing fintech landscape: “The current fintech space has offered several new options than when I started my journey a few years ago. But I’ve always hoped that my community and those marginalized by the system have options they deserve. Grind24 was built to provide a great banking product that addresses the needs of the community we serve that traditional banks have overlooked. We are here to strengthen our communities while building a banking business we trust. The best is yet to come. “
