China and Russia believed in a bilateral geostrategic relationship to equal the US global influence, Chinese President welcomed President Putin.
Both countries claimed the new strategic relationship would prove more effective in the cold war than other political and military agreements. The two countries’ friendship is beyond limits, not influenced by trade cooperation. Space, Climate Change, Internet control, and artificial Intelligence are vital sectors for collaboration.
The agreement signed by both countries shows both countries’ firm stance in collaboration. Russians and Chinese collectively emerged to compete for US policies at all forums. Both nations had a strong view in building global order based on democracy and human rights. Going deep in political discussion, it was unclear about the practical implementation of geostrategic policies shared by both presidents. Putin finalized the gas deal with the Chinese bolstering the power sector. Russians will supply gas through pipeline projects.
Daniel Russel of the Asia Society think tank said that both leaders were determined to face the US sanctions and west, ready to compete US global influence and leadership. With the help of China, Moscow posed a significant threat in the Ukraine crisis facing the pressure of NATO quickly. On the same page, Russians supported China in the Taiwan crisis, protecting its national interests.

US signed AUKUS and Quads agreements with Asian and west countries to make military alliances around the globe focusing on China containment policy. The US boycotted China on the special occasion of the winter Olympics. US-backed Taiwan and provided military support in the China sea to counter advancement by the Chinese military towards Taiwan. Washington wanted to see Taiwan as an independent island. US hostile policy towards China provided Russians an opportunity to build relations with the Chinese. Russians backed the One China policy claiming Taiwan part of China. China also supported the demand of Russians about the security guarantees by the west and NATO forces positioned on Eastern Europe.
In lengthy documents of 5400 words in English highlighted the collaboration of both countries, China and Russia, backing each other in all aspects against the US and West.
The US aimed to position the developed global missile defense system in different parts of the world to claim its superiority. But this idea is opposed by the Asian global powers like China and Russia due to security concerns. The US will have to face strong resistance from these two powers, leading to a new cold war era, establishing a new military block in the world.
