President Dr. Arif Alvi advised millennials on Sunday to take full advantage of the IT-related global market, which might aid Pakistan’s entire growth and prosperity.
“There are billions of possibilities for smart app development. Pakistan is about to take the plunge. Pakistan is undergoing transformation. The globe is the market for IT [information technology] gadgets,” he remarked during an international webinar hosted by the Joint Cultural Society for Communities Collaboration on “current entrepreneurship aspects in the digital world.”
“Youths may take advantage of current and novel opportunities in the area of information and technology, and get access to the ever-expanding global IT sector, which offers enormous chances for advancement and wealth,” the president stated.
He stated that massive, exponential, and revolutionary developments were occurring in the information and technical fields throughout the world, heralding great opportunities for Pakistan’s youth to flourish.
The webinar was held to address digital visions and trends, as well as the role of youngsters in light of recent advances in artificial intelligence. The webinar drew participants from all across the world.
Dr. Alvi stated that four major revolutions are taking place: first, in computing, data processing, and artificial intelligence analysis; second, in the energy sector, which is linked to biology; and finally, in 3D manufacturing, which includes virtual reality, blockchain, internet data, mobile computing, internet, and social networking.
He said that the government had built human resources for a technology society in desperate need of skilled youngsters.
“Of the 2.4 million persons who applied for the Digi skills project, around 1.6 million have progressed to the next step,” he continued.
The president also mentioned that the Higher Education Commission was giving free courses.
He advised individuals to learn how to build software and smart applications since global virtual capital and brick-and-mortar enterprises were both looking for startups and smart app developers to invest in.
He noted that information was the means by which people throughout the world were making steps, referring to the technical gap caused by great miracles taking place in the IT area.
“After gaining abilities in the relevant subject, Pakistan’s young population would be able to enter the global information globe,” he added.
Dr. Alvi stated that the Punjab Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, in conjunction with Facebook/Meta, had educated 3,000 women to use the internet and planned to train another 100,000 women for women empowerment.
He expressed optimism that the youngsters would prepare themselves for the rapid IT changes occurring throughout the world, and that they would bring honour to the country while also providing chances for employment.
