The original size of the “memories” widget google appears on the home screen as 2×2 by default, but it can be reshaped and resized depending upon the users’ preferences. If users want to resize the widget, they can simply long-press the widget. A stretching pointer will appear upon pressing long, allowing the user to drag it according to their preferred size or shape.
The widget will enable you to enjoy the old days by resurfacing your album systematically. The unique widget represents a sequence of auto-generated photos. Google collects these photos from the album and assembles them to recall your memories. With the widget scrolling through the whole photos application, albums and searches are no longer needed since users will be quickly redirected to their old days. Currently, Android users will only be able to “memories” that include “a year ago” and “this week.”
Google claims that shortly they will also launch a new feature to the widget. It stated, “New types of Memories such as Best of Month Memories, Trip highlights, celebrations, etc., will soon be added.”
With The enhanced features, users will be enabled to look back into time more often. The memories will be recalled, including the best highlight, your important events, and the most exciting memories in your photos collection. Moreover, machine learning will also enable the user to hide particular humans, collections, or things you might not encounter often. In the near future, your photo search and spot experience will be more enhanced once the new features are inculcated in the “memories” widget.
