In a recent feature upgrade, Samsung updated their internet application with a new widget and chromium engine update. The application has been recently updated with an android 15 beta release. Samsung mobile applications constitute “Samsung internet,” which is very popular among Android users.
Many people prefer to utilize internet services from Samsung internet due to its speedy recovery. Beta version 15 is now available, and it can be downloaded. People preferably use the app due to its easily operable features. The application also provides synchronization.
The application apparently might look similar, but it launched technology with anti-tracking capacity. Moreover, a new search widget is also a part of the internet 15 beta release. Some recent web APIs are now locatable, including overflow-CSS.
The application now concerns privacy more sensitively, with its “enhanced anti-tracking technology. The new upgrade in technology enables the users to utilize services under more restricted security checks. These checks include fingerprint methods.
While talking about the privacy features and updates, Head of Web R&d, Du Kim stated;
“Samsung works tirelessly to deliver the best mobile experience while providing ways to help keep your personal information private with advanced privacy features,”
To make the Samsung internet experience safer for users, the application has launched Secret mode. This mode, once enabled, will help the user by not leaving any history. Like other standard mode browsers, users’ search history is secured in the device and on the application.
The secret mode will not leave any search item in your history bar. Upon re-opening any application, the secret mode would be working until you do not turn it off.
In their blog post, Samsung updated about the secret mode feature;
“Samsung Internet 15.0 beta allows users to remove data stored on their devices and provides greater insight into what will be removed. Further, once the user activates Secret mode, the browser remains in Secret mode as a default, eliminating additional steps to activate the mode every time.”
A new search widget is also added to the “Samsung internet.”
“Samsung Internet 15.0 beta’s new, intuitive search widget makes it easier than ever to search for information from the home screen. It’s quick and easy. All they need to do is type or use their voice to search anything online.”
The search engine widget will now enable the users to search their content from the home screen of their device. Some previous pages and searches are stored for the users. This feature helps the user not to redirect the same link again and reload as well.
The storage of previous web results enables the user to secure their data usage. Samsung launched the update a month after displaying the details of new and distinctive features that version 15 contains. A chromium engine service is a new launch considering the upgrade. Moreover, the “enhanced anti-tracking technology,” search widget, and secret mode enablers proved to be making significant differences in the better quality and experience of Samsung internet application users.
