Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan spoke to Alexander De Croo, the Belgian Prime Minister, about the changing situation in Afghanistan after the Taliban took over. The international community should support the Afghan people, he said.

The Belgian PM met with PM Khan to talk about the Afghan crisis and Pakistan’s role in evacuations.
Since the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, the Belgian prime minister has been the fifth leader to call on the Pakistani premier.
The Prime Minister added that reconciliation and peace would be important in stabilizing efforts.
PM Khan emphasized the importance of a stable and peaceful Afghanistan for Pakistan and the region as a whole.
Both prime ministers discussed the evacuation efforts. The Belgian prime minister thanked Khan for his assistance and facilitation during the evacuation of diplomats.
