The switch access comes in three distinctive features including, Bluetooth, camera switches, and USB switches. By using these modes, users can accomplish their tasks and activities by physically connecting a USB, connecting to tools via wireless Bluetooth, and the latest version of accessing the android device with the face. These switches can be used to scroll down or to select some items, etc.

The multiple actions these gestures perform include; back to the home screen, scroll forward or backward, open notification bar, select some item, etc. These features can be enabled by setting your facial expressions as per suggested guidelines in the application. However, it is essential to remember that the application is highly power-intensive and might take your extra battery due to a relative increase in the camera application.

How to Set Up a “Camera Wwitch” on Your Android Device?

By simply opening the accessibility suite in your android device, you can jump in “choose a switch type.” Here’s a step-by-step guide for enabling the feature on your device;

  1. In your mobile’s accessibility tools, open switch access.
  2. Select “camera switch” and click on next.
  3. In the next bar, you can choose the number of switches you would like to enable. It is recommended to select “two switches.”
  4. On the next screen, you will see scanning options.
  5. Upon selecting linear scanning, users will be redirected to the next tab, where they have to choose a gesture.
  6. You can select the gestures and utilize the performative actions of camera switches without using the touchscreen on your android device.
