Every activity that requires blowing, like playing musical instruments, singing, chanting, etc., is prohibited for funeral services. Area restrictions are in force, and every activity that might transmit the infectious disease is forbidden. Your safety is the primary concern of Bay Tree Funeral Directors; however, everyone’s safety is equally as important. That’s why cooperation in maintaining this restriction is appreciated.
Bay Tree Funeral Directors is also requesting a limitation on the number of attendees. For everyone’s protection, Bay Tree Funeral Directors will limit the number of attendees to not more than 30 persons. Ease of management and safety of attendees is considered when making its recommendations. In the light of present circumstances, we do not condone or wish for any breach of this protocol. But we recognize that such limitations will hinder many people’s right to mourn and pay their last respects. We respect your right to attend the funeral services, and that’s why webcasting live video of each ceremony is provided – to the extent possible.
Funeral restrictions are also extended to the time in the chapel. Visitation time, including entry and exit times, will be limited to 30-minutes. While this restriction limits your time with the deceased person one last time, Bay Tree Funeral Directors request that you cooperate to reduce the risk of the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
Further, Bay Tree Funeral Directors will be restricting the collection of ashes from the crematorium during these unfortunate times. Families won’t have to pay any charges for ash storage in the interim and for as long as required.
Finally, backfilling of graves by family members will be disallowed by the Leicester funeral home. Bay Tree Funeral Directors’ staff of professional undertakers will ensure prompt burial to ensure that there is minimum risk of any feelings of disrespect as you mourn the loss of your loved one. This courtesy is extended to anyone who needs it.
