Hybrid Cloud computing is a term meaning a mixture of public and private cloud services. This allows data and applications to be shared between them. Computing and processing demand fluctuates for organizations and thus they require more or less depending on the task. Hybrid clouds allow shifting between private and public clouds to manage that demand and cut costs.
What is a Public or Private Cloud?
A public cloud service is similar to Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Amazon Web Services. These are well known cloud services that are available to the public. However, private clouds are cloud services that are used by one company.

Hence, a hybrid cloud presents a best-of-all-worlds scenario. In terms of applications, processing power, data storage, etc. it allows companies to manage costs and demand. For the biggest needs like data security and data recovery, it relies on its public cloud services. However, for the simplest tasks, it still relies on its own setup.
