A $1 Million Dollar Restaurant Opens In Chinatown Vegas

Chubby Cattle, the world’s first refrigerated, conveyer belt-based hotpot restaurant opens in red-hot Chinatown Las Vegas

Chubby Cattle is looking to reform traditional Mongolian cuisine. The newest addition to Chinatown Las Vegas is the first restaurant in the world to combine refrigerated, conveyor belt-based hotpot with the finest traditional foods from Asia. The goal of this innovation is to provide their customers with the healthiest way to enjoy their fresh dishes. To achieve the standard that they aim for in their mission, Mr. Yang personally selects the finest products direct from the farms.
 
Chubby Cattle is a partnership between Little Lamb, the international restaurant that operates nearly 600 locations throughout the world and NXTFactor, an international digital agency, and investment firm. Together they have created a first-of-its-kind modern restaurant. 
 
Owner Harby Yang was born into the hotpot business. Born and raised in Inner Mongolia, an autonomous region of northern China, his family ran and operated the best hotpot restaurants in all of China. “I have hotpot in my blood, in my DNA” he states proudly . 
 
It was this pride that leads Mr. Yang to spare no expense to create Chubby Cattle. The 3,600 square foot space seats 160 and features a waterfall, a custom designed 3D recessed sky ceiling, custom made hand cut granite tables with induction cookers, specially designed under-the-table cell phone holders, private VIP rooms, and a custom built fish tank that holds live seafood the chefs will cook to perfection. A dozen high definition flat screens will show videos of Chinese cooking, art, history, music videos, culture and more.
 
To run the kitchen, Mr. Yang recruited Master Chef Mr. Ho who was the corporate chef for Little Lamb International. Chef Ho has decades of experience working in his native China as well as 10 years in NYC before relocating to Las Vegas, specifically for this project. Always paying extreme attention to detail, Mr. Yang personally selects the finest products and uses the freshest high-quality ingredients.
 
The restaurant features chicken, lamb, beef brisket, rib eye, pork, tripe, live geoduck, live shrimp, live king crab, live Vancouver crab, scallops, bass, clams, over a dozen vegetables, tofu, noodles, rice, dumplings, house-made dessert and more. But the real star is the broth. The soup base, made from a special and secret recipe is slow simmered every day for 8 hours before they serve it to their fellow foodies.
 
Chubby Cattle is located in the Mountain View Plaza, 3400 South Jones Blvd, Las Vegas Nevada 89146 and will be open from 4PM to 11PM, 7 days a week.
