J Metro has recently took the Grammy’s by storm as he was able to wrap up his official video, walk red carpets, do interviews, and more! J had his song “Frosty” considered for a grammy nomination, with this being his first year actually attending the Grammy’s and it’s weekend festivities. J looks forward to making his latest single “Bodyguard” his award winning song for next years Grammy season.
J Metro releases new visuals for his latest single “Bodyguard” directed by Rueben Wood. The visuals were shot in downtown Los Angeles at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles, with three supporting actors; Male henchmen 1, ( Joseph Tomanogi ), Male henchmen 2 ( Marino Giunta ), Bodyguard (Shane Shoaf), and (Amanda Morton) who plays the role of the female who is J Metro‘s love interest and is kidnapped with him.
On this particular day J, just so happens to be with his new love interest and bodyguard, as they are preparing to leave for a day in the city. As they leave, their bodyguard is ambushed, and they are caught by two unknown men. Little to J’s knowledge, his personal bodyguard has made a bad deal with two gentlemen, which results in the kidnapping and abduction of J Metro & his love interest. The video plays flashbacks and present happenings of the events that take place on this crazy day for the singer.
Celebrity Journalist and Media Icon Rueben Wood, directed and filmed the music video, with a serious focus on bringing a short film/ motion picture to life. ” I chose to film at the Biltmore Hotel, because of the feel and layout of the building. When I was a kid my family would visit the Biltmore property in Asheville, NC, so I was always intrigued with the construction put in to their buildings and its renaissance feel.” We asked Rueben, why did you chose the lineup of actors, you did? “Out of the hundreds that, submitted, and the no show on the day of filming, I felt that everyone I had chosen was a good fit for the roles, that were suggested. When you view the video, you can see the on set chemistry between, the actors and artist, it almost seems as if they had known each other for years!”
Each of the actors chosen for the video have their individual talents and careers in the acting/film industry, that you will continue to see flourish, as they progress more and more. As for J Metro, he has been making his name known for some time now with the releasing of two albums and several singles that even put him on Billboard Charts. Now focusing on new music and branding himself as a household name he will be making appearances, and doing interviews. His recent single “Bodyguard” debut at number 12 on Billboard Hot Single Sales charts. With the success of this record J Metro will be releasing his next single “Magic” very soon and following that an EP. With his working with Spaced Out Magazine, as the media company behind his career changing campaign, J Metro is making his way to the top. “Bodyguard” will be vetted for several different television stations and networks, to give it the most mainstream visibility as possible.
