Emily Keene Chosen for our Quarterly Leadership Summit

One of the most recent selections at Worldwide Vision for our national quarterly leadership summit was Emily Keen. An Apex native with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from East Carolina University, Emily quickly made a name for herself. She joined the team at Worldwide Vision merely three weeks before she was chosen for an all-expense paid trip to visit and assist an office in Dallas, TX. During the road trip to Dallas, Emily was promoted to Account Manager and extended the invitation to attend the Quarterly Leadership Summit as one of Worldwide Vision’s best. Emily states, “I was so excited and nervous to have been chosen. I had only been with the company for about three weeks and knew how much of an honor it is to have been selected to represent Worldwide Vision. It didn’t even sink in really until I arrived and I starting meeting others like me around the country.” During the conference the Account Managers are given an opportunity to have the top Managers in the country coach them on topics from training others, coaching, human resources, and managing a team. When asked, Emily stated that the topics that helped her the most were, “building relationships with a team and how to devote your time to coaching and motivating the top representatives into Account Managers.”

With all the new growth and expansion that Worldwide Vision in Raleigh, NC is experiencing, developing their current representatives into upper level management positions is resulting in a great strategy. “We are only as good as our weakest link,” says Jeff Minor, manager at Worldwide Vision. “We have new opportunities coming all the time and are always looking for the next potential manager.” When asked what is it that Worldwide Vision looks for in a manager, Jeff states, “we have developed managers from all walks of life but find that sports minded team players and those with motivation for success tend to do the best and develop the fastest.”
