Superior International Industries (SII) would like to announce that Ray Derbecker has been named Vice Chairman. Mr. Derbecker is the founder of the business and will have an integral part of the future success of SII with an emphasis on key areas of growth. A few of the key areas of growth consist of: acquisitions, new products, and strategic customer development.
Since 1991, Ray has been a pioneer, innovator, major market supplier, and key contributor to the direction and growth of the commercial recreational products industry. Under Ray’s leadership, Superior International Industries has become a comprehensive recreational products provider for Playgrounds, Shade Structures, Site Furniture, Shelters and Components, with nearly four hundred employees in Georgia, Texas, and Oklahoma. Furthermore, Ray has seen SII grow from a small factory in Carrollton, Georgia to a manufacturer that distributes internationally. Derbecker said, “This new opportunity will allow me to pursue my passion of finding and developing new products and companies to enhance the product offerings at SII.”
