StarWalk Kids Media, the eBook publishing company co-founded by veteran children’s science author Seymour Simon and Liz Nealon, the former Creative Director of Sesame Street, have reached an agreement to make single eBook titles from their award-winning collection available to schools and libraries through Baker and Taylor’s Axis 360 digital media library platform.
‘We have been following the development and launch of Axis 360 with great interest,” said StarWalk Kids Publisher Liz Nealon. “We are dedicated to serving libraries and their patrons, and we believe that Axis 360 offers a simple and affordable way to reach thousands of new readers seeking quality children’s titles from award-winning authors and illustrators.”
“While we will continue to focus on offering our subscription-based steaming platform for schools and libraries” Nealon said, “we recognize that many libraries have made significant investments in downloadable, perpetual access systems, and we want to support them in whatever way works best for them.”
