StarWalk Kids Media, the eBook publishing startup co-founded by children’s science author Seymour Simon and Liz Nealon, the former Creative Director of Sesame Street, has signed an agreement to make single eBook titles from their award-winning collection available to schools and libraries through Follett Digital Resources.
“At StarWalk Kids Media, we are committed to delighting digital kids with our high quality, enhanced eBooks, and part of that commitment means giving them access to our titles wherever and however they and their schools need us to,” said StarWalk Publisher Liz Nealon. “Follett is clearly a market force in schools, serving over 60,000 K12 school libraries, and we are very pleased to be working with them to deliver our award-winning eBooks to kids and educators.”
“While we will continue to focus on offering our subscription-based steaming platform for schools and libraries” Nealon said, “we recognize that many schools have made significant investments in downloadable, perpetual access systems, and we want to support them in whatever way works best for them.”
