Sorrymate.com, the insurance claims handling specialist for all dedicated motorbike riders, is continuing to strengthen its support of the cream of British bike racing talent, by sponsoring a team competing in the 2013 Pirelli National Superstock 600 championship. And unusually, the team which will carry the Sorrymate.com colours around the UK comprises two twin brothers. Seventeen-year-old Kurt and Matthew Wigley, from Cannock, Staffordshire, might be young pups by the standard of many professional racers, but the pair already have an enviable record of competitive racing behind them, having both started racing when they were just six years old! And this season they have a new challenge ahead of them, as they line up with nearly 30 other aspiring young riders each looking to take their first steps towards becoming the next Joey Dunlop or Steve Hislop of the Superbikes world.

The National Superstock 600 championship is a popular proving ground which gives young riders the chance to show their quality, and potential for progressing through the ranks of competitive bike racing. And both Kurt and Matthew have something tangible to aim for this season, as the Superstock 600 champion of just two years ago, Keith Farmer, will be competing on the biggest stage for the sport in the UK in this season’s British Superbikes Championship.

“The Superstock 600 is a massively competitive series, and puts the cream of teenage British biking talent alongside each other on the grid,” said Paul Dutton from Sorrymate.com. “Because it gives spectators a chance to see potential British Superbike riders of the future competing hell-for-leather alongside each other, we at Sorrymate.com were keen to get involved in it, and by sponsoring Kurt and Matthew, we feel we can show our support for two of the sport’s most promising competitors.”

It is just the latest in a series of sponsorship deals which Sorrymate.com has tied up as it seeks to widen awareness of the specialised services which the company – run by biking enthusiasts for biking enthusiasts – offers to help motorcyclists in the event of them being involved in a bike accident while out riding. These include their increasingly popular SMIDSY card, and a free phone line* for advice and support should the need arise for any motorcyclist to make an insurance claim. Riders can get their free card simply by visiting www.sorrymate.com and takes a few quick and simple steps to register.
