Parcel2Go has issued a reminder to people in the UK that keeping in touch with friends and family members living in other countries around the world doesn’t need to be difficult or expensive.
The call follows the release of figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) which showed that almost 3.6 million people left the UK permanently between 2001 and 2011 – an average of almost 100 people per day. According to research, many of those were graduates going to work abroad in a range of sectors including the pharmaceutical, aerospace and engineering industries. The most likely destinations for Brits leaving the UK were Australia, the United States and Spain.
