The Book People has been named among the best online shops for buying books, CDs and DVDs in a survey conducted by consumer watchdog Which?.
A wide range of different retailers were ranked as part of the UK’s biggest survey of online shops. Consumers participating in the questionnaire are asked to rate websites on customer satisfaction, as well as how likely they would be to recommend them to a friend.
The Book People was voted the second best site for purchasing cheap books, CDs and DVDs out of a list of 17 retailers. It received three out of five stars for website usability, two stars for product availability, four stars for delivery, five stars for price and three stars for its returns process. Overall, customers gave it a score of 84 per cent.
Furthermore, the Book People was sixth out of more than 100 retailers in the list of best rated online shops.
