The recent roaring success of Apple’s latest iPhone goes to show that the US technology giant remains the dominant player in its field, according to iPhone and iPad accessories retailer The Snugg.
More than five million iPhone 5 handsets were sold during the device’s first weekend on sale, cementing Apple’s position as one of the biggest technology companies on the planet. At some stores, hundreds of people queued up hours in advance of the iPhone 5’s launch in the hope of being among the first people to get their hands on the smartphone.

In addition to the iPhone 5, Apple also confirmed recently that it planned to launch the new iPad Mini in time for Christmas, adding to expectations that the company is in for a bumper yuletide.
