nexMatrix has announced they will be performing significant enhancements to their Protelity product, a hosted and multi-tenant PBX application that combines enterprise-grade telephony features with the ability to rebrand and manage based on the company’s nexSwitch softswitches. This provides VoIP services for both retail end users and high volume corporate customers.
Users implementing the Protelity platform have always had the ability to resell hosted PBX and SIP termination services under their own company name, with complete control over price points, billing options and many more innovative features. This next release of Protelity gives end users additional control over many routine configuration changes and also improves billing and reporting features.
Protelity gives resellers and corporate customers the ability to take advantage of wholesale rates on SIP termination and also offer a wide range of PBX functionality to their end users. nexMatrix handles all of the back-end details, including CDR’s, tax collection, number porting, E911 and many more. The application includes a versatile rebranding portal that allows resellers to add line items for other services and to effectively manage their customer billing while minimizing overhead.
Protelity version 2 is starting beta testing this week, and it includes major upgrades. The new release allows duplicate extension numbers to be implemented across multiple tenants, and it also gives end users an enhanced portal that gives them the ability to make extension moves, adds and other routine changes without involving technical support personnel while billing is fully automatic. Automatic provisioning of SIP trunks and many other features are also included.
