Last year, during the inaugural Big Splash Custom Bath Giveaway event, Schloegel Design Remodel and the Love Fund partnered to deliver a fully customized handicap accessible bathroom for Daniel and Samuel Anderson. The results were life changing for both the brothers and the entire Anderson family! Again this year, this partnership will provide a complete bathroom remodel including an all-new shower, toilet, flooring, tile and vanity, worth an estimated value of $25,000.
“We were thrilled last year when we helped the Anderson family by bringing a state of the art bathroom to Daniel and Samuel.” said Lisa Herron, Executive Director, Love Fund for Children. “The hope and purpose of our combined efforts with Schloegel Design Remodel was achieved when we alleviated some of the concern, expense and worry the Andersons faced when adapting to the demands of everyday life with two special needs children.
The Love Fund for Children works to ensure children in Kansas City and surrounding communities have necessities for growing, learning and living. By raising and distributing funds for goods and services, one child at a time and often as a last resort, the Love Fund provides solutions for children whose needs are beyond the funding ability of their family or support structure.

Any Youth Service Professional who interfaces with a special needs child and their family is encouraged to nominate deserving recipients. All families with a special needs child, 17 years of age or younger, are encouraged to participate by having a Certified Youth Service Professional (including church pastors, medical care providers, physical therapists, school family liaisons, social workers, et. al.) complete a nomination form on line at http://remodelagain.com/big-splash/.
The beneficiary of the Second Annual Big Splash Custom Bath Giveaway will be selected by a group of specially appointed representatives of Schloegel Design Remodel and the Love Fund on the basis of perceived greatest need. The child and family selected to receive the Second Annual Big Splash Custom Bath Giveaway will be notified no later than Monday November 26th, 2012.
