New Look, New Options for Student Dining at SUNY New Paltz

/EINPresswire.com/ NEW PALTZ, New York – Hungry students heading back to school can expect a pleasant surprise at Hasbrouck Hall. The residential dining facility at SUNY New Paltz has undergone a dramatic facelift and enhanced the spectrum of dining options.

“There’s something for everyone – and fresh is definitely the overarching theme,” said Ralph Perez-Rogers, Sodexo General Manager at SUNY New Paltz. “Our new dining stations provide the ideal combination of nutrition, variety, and of course, fresh, delicious food.”

Among the six new stations is The Wild Mushroom which features a menu serving protein- and nutrient-rich vegan and vegetarian meals including made-to-order salads, sandwiches and vegetarian and vegan entrees with many locally-sourced fruits and vegetables.

The 360 Degrees Grill is an exhibition cooking station where students create their own specialty orders by choosing their own ingredients and watching the chefs work their magic.

The Flying Star Diner will provide comfort foods and breakfast all day. The décor of the diner is styled as an old-fashioned eatery with tile floors and metallic finishes.

Bella Trattoria brings Italy to Hasbrouck featuring oven-baked pizza cooked on demand, an assortment of pasta and other bistro-style options and specials.

Magellan’s features an ever-changing menu with authentic recipes from different parts of the world.

Basic Kneads is the station for baked bread, savory soup, fresh pastries and baked goods, hot coffee, fresh cereal, made-to-order subs and wraps.
