The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation Collaborates with Youth Lifeline America to Finance First Football training program.

/EINPresswire.com/ Based out of St. Thomas, billionaire investor, Jeffrey Epstein and his foundation, the Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation, have helped finance the first football training camp in the US Virgin Islands. Over the last three summers, more than 700 youth, ages 13 to 18 from across the U.S. Virgin Islands have participated in the first Football & Life Skills Camp. The program was set up by the non-profit foundation, Youth Lifeline America (YLA). Coaches at the camp have included two-time Super Bowl Champion, and founder of YLA, Roland Williams, Football Hall of Famer, Floyd Little and many other athletes.

In addition to star athletes, community leaders, renowned performing artists and business persons have served as mentors and speakers. The camp also includes a fitness camp for girls and a series of life skills sessions on such subjects as financial literacy and mentorship. At the end of the camp, every participant receives a pair of Nike shoes and other sports and schooling equipment.

“The kids are still talking about last year’s camp,” said Williams, a formidable tight end, who helped the St. Louis Rams defeat the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV. “It’s really become a part of the territory, and this is a very exciting time. This is the beginning of a host of programs we will be doing to inspire and empower the kids of the Caribbean.”

Based in St. Louis, Missouri, YLA harnesses the powerful influence of celebrity artists, athletes, entertainers and business professionals to teach youth valuable life skills. To date, YLA has collaborated with more than 327 community organizations across the United States.

Founded in 2000 by Jeffrey Epstein, the Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation sponsors science education and youth based programs across the US. “YLA uses a powerful model of collaborating with celebrities to teach and inspire the young. It motivates kids to set high standards and that is excellent.”

Stars on YLA’s board include: Alicia Keyes, Jermaine Andre, MMA Champion, Charles Woodson, NFL star, Torry Holt, NFL star, Jo Jo White, NBA legend, Bobby Simmons, NBA star, Chris Berman and sports commentator, Jim Brown.
